The Emotional Cost of the Pandemic

Personally, I think the financial cuts as a result of the pandemic has been very emotional for people. This is because many people are laid off or can’t work, and financial worry can be upsetting to people because this leads to great stress for those who have lost their jobs.

The COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment is paid at a flat rate of €350 per week for the duration of the pandemic emergency. It was originally set at a rate of €203 but it was increased by the government on March 24.

To prevent COVID-19 from spreading more, the government has asked for people not to go outside and to only leave the house if it is necessary. This rule should definitely be considered by everyone and I think people should definitely comply with it.
